Douglas C. Young was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, on January 16, 1952. At the age of eight, his family moved to the town of West Orange, New Jersey. A graduate of West Orange High School in 1970, he enlisted in the U.S. Marines (1970-1976). After being honorably discharged as a Sergeant E-5, he took up residency in California. He later attended several colleges and today he resides in Riverside County. For the past twenty five years, he has served as the president of a California-based company.
